World Cup winner, Bayern and Man. United player Schweinsteiger signs with MLS

Major League Soccer has landed another foreign, former star. Manchester United’s 32-year-old German midfield Bastian Schweinsteiger, a World Cup and Champions League winner, has joined the Chicago Fire. The American club announced the move on Tuesday morning.
Schweinsteiger, who won eight Bundesliga crowns at Bayern and took home the FA Cup at Manchester United last season, is set to become a designated player signing for the Fire, who are 1-1-1 to start the season.
The midfielder also announced the move on Twitter, leaving a nice message for the fans of the Red Devils.
